Hi I'm Alaina, but you can call me lain!

I graduated from Mount St. Joseph University in May 2025 at the top of my design class, earning Best in Show at every student showcase, including our senior thesis exhibition. Throughout my experience, I’ve had the opportunity to work with both growing startups and fast-paced design environments, helping brands like Nedasoft and Lavenderoom build strong, intentional identities while managing high-volume, ever-evolving projects in a studio setting. At my core, I simply love to create. Design isn’t just my career, it’s how I see and interact with the world, and whether I’m building a brand, cross stitching a new piece, or baking something from scratch, I’m always making something with care and intention. I’m also deeply inspired by the outdoors. I love going on hikes, and my fiancé and I have a goal to visit every national park, which influences the calm, natural, and organic aesthetic often reflected in my work. Outside of design, my life is quiet and full in the best way. I live with my fiancé and our two dogs, Rosie, my sweet Saint Bernard, and Bear, my cuddly Newfoundland, and we’re looking forward to getting married this September.
